Welded circular tubes of this steel are used for compression load and for corrosive load at room temperature, low temperatures and elevated temperatures. The material is resistant to intercrystalline corrosion (up to 400 °C) also in the welded condition. The steel is used in accordance with DVGW GW 541 for welded and seamless line pipes for use in drinking water installations in accordance to DIN 1988 and in gas installations operated with gases in accordance with DVGW G 260 up to a maximum operating pressure of 5 bar.-10 - 400
