It is largely resistant to water, steam, weak acids and solutions and oxidizing acids. Furthermore, the material has a hightened resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in hot solutions and weak waters containing chloride. Due to the Ti additive, there is no danger of intercrystalline corrosion after welding, however, this additive does not allow the steel to undergo high-gloss polishing. |
