The material is a fully austenitic steel showing higher strength and structural stability by N-addition. High resistance in oxidizing media. Increase of interaction parameter (pitting index) by N-addition. Application in chemical apparatus engineering for pressure vessels, in cellulose, coloring, oil, soap and textile industry, in breweries and dairies. The steel is usable for mirror-polishing and resistant to selective attack. It shows favorable corrosion resistance especially in welded condition. The material shows resistance to intercrystalline corrosion also in sensitized condition. |
