It is used in belts, sheets, rods and wires for highly heat resistant construction components. The material is a highly heat resistant alloy with especially good high-temperature strength and a yield strength at elevated temperatures up to approximately 750 degrees C, good viscosity between 650 and 750 degrees C, and a resistance to oxidation up to a temperature of 1000 degrees C. Furthermore, the material possesses excellent mechanical properties in cryogenic temperatures, good resistance to corrosion at high and low temperatures and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting.It is used for pumps and other highly stressed components of off-shore installations, technical maritime facilities and drilling equipment for the acid gas and oil production. Additional used are highly stressed construction components in gas turbines and rocket engines, and it is used in certain parts, for example springs, mountings, components in nuclear reactors and for low-temperature containers.
