It is useds for sheet metal, strip, plates. The material is food-safe. To the comparable mark AlMn0,6, material No. 3.0506 acc. to DIN 1725-1 : 1983-02 applies: The alloy AlMn0,6 is a low-alloyed AlMn- alloy intended to be used in packaging industry. Mn increases strength in comparison to pure aluminium, but is does not affect corrosion resistance. The alloy pertains to naturally hard aluminium materials. A strength increase can only be achieved by cold forming, not by controlled heat treatment. It is ideal for warm and cold forming, it shows no tendency to earing. It is therefore ideal for deep-drawing. Application: In packaging industry as tear open lids, for general metal goods and metal signs. |
