Further properties according to EN 1706: Pressure tightness: poor Machinability (as cast): excellent Corrosion resistance: excellent Weldability: fair Sea water suitability: very good (source: DNVGL-RU-SHIP Pt.2 Ch.2. Edition July 2019) Excellent polishability and very good anodic oxidisability due to the lower Si content. Application: castings with very good resistance to sea water and weak alkaline solutions, for interior and exterior architecture, food and chemical industry, fire extinguishing, equipment for the food industry, household and chemical industry
