The material is suitable as composite cast material, it is resistant to sulfuric acid. It is applicated for edge loading floating bearings of high surface pressure, for bearings without anti friction metal lining, also with cast-in copper cooling pipes for cold rolling mills. For top level loadings on good lubrication up to =5000 N/cm². For composite bearings in combustion engines, preferred piston pin bushings with a max. loading up to 7000 N/cm² and for acid resistant instruments and castings.
