It allows the achievement of high-grade surfaces. It is due to its favorable castability particularly suitable for all types of moldings in fitting and apparatus construction. Successful application for the following components: water and steam fittings up to 225°C, normally loaded pump casings and centrifuge cover, water bearing rims, brush holder for electric motors, accessories of tilt wagons as well as sliding plates in machine, vehicle and transmission manufacturing as well as for decorative castings. Processing properties: machinability: very good soft soldering: good hard soldering: conditionally gas fusion welding: bad gas shielded welding: bad burnishing: good galvanizing: good suitability for dip tinning: good (material specification applies for G-CuSn5ZnPb acc. to DIN) | ≤ 225 |
