It is suitable as composite material. The alloy is applicated for edge loading floating bearings of high surface pressure, e.g. calender rolls, vehicle loader, bearings for hot-rolling mills. For top level loadings on good lubrication up to =6000 N/cm². For composite bearings in combustion engines. Loadings up to 10000 N/cm², e.g. piston pins and gear bushings as well as for washer disks. Processing properties: machinability: very good soft soldering: good hard soldering: unfavorable gas fusion welding: unfavorable burnishing (mech.): good galvanizing: good suitability for dip tinning: good |
