2.4964 (DIN EN 10302 : 2008-06) | 2.4964 | DIN EN 10302 : 2008-06 | Supersedes DIN EN 10302 : 2002-09 | Valid | Germany | CoCr20W15N | The high temperature alloy CoCr20W15Ni, Werkstoffnummer 2.4964 is characterized by: - excellent mechanical properties in temperatures up to 1100 degrees C - very good resistance to sulfur-bearing gas atmospheres - good resistance to scaling and oxidation in temperatures up to 1100 degrees C - very good resistance to corrosion in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid - good formability and weldability - according to WL 2.4964 (material specification), supplementary sheet 1, 01.77 and WL 2.4964, part 100, draft 07.86, the material is high temperature resistant, resistant to scaling up to temperatures of approximately 1090 degrees C and weldable. General use: - components for gas turbines (industry, aviation) and air heaters - high temperature equipment for the chemical industry - heat exchangers, valves and springs in high temperatures - muffles, rollers, steel pipes - according to WL 2.4964 (material specification), supplementary sheet 1, 01.77 and WL 2.4964, part 100, draft 07.86, it is used for after burners, jet nozzles, guide blades, exhaust guides with operation temperatures to approximately 815 degrees C. | ≤ 1040 |
