The steels contains nitriding agents (Cr) which contribute by the nitriding resp. nitrocarburization process with N resp. N and C to an increase of - case hardness - wear resistance - fatigue resistance and - corrosion resistance. Application for forged components: hardened, mechanically machined and thermochemical treated (e.g. nitriding)
