Electrical Safety and EMC Testing for Europe
All electrical or electronic products must comply with the applicable directives before they can be marketed in the European Union. All safety-related directives require products to be CE marked before they can be placed on the EU market. This also applies to household appliances that incorporate fuel burners.

Electrical Safety Testing for North America
In the USA and Canada, electrical products must be approved by an independent, government-recognised certification body. This requirement applies in particular to electrical appliances for household and commercial use, which can have both safety and energy efficiency requirements.
Our QPS certification mark indicates that your product has been tested by a laboratory (NRTL) recognised by OSHA (USA) and SCC (Canada), complies with the applicable regulations and has been certified by an accredited body.
Global Market Access
The CB Scheme provides a mechanism for mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates between participating members. It offers manufacturers a simplified means of obtaining multiple national electrical safety certifications for their products. More than 50 certification bodies from countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Oceania and Africa participate in the CB Scheme.
