Technical workshop on the EN 1090 standard

11/06/2014

EN 1090: CE Marking of Steel Structures and its integration with the ISO 9001 Quality System.

    • Start date: 11/06/2014
    • End date: 11/06/2014
    • City: Bellaterra (Barcelona)
    • Country: Spain

The transitional period for adapting to the EN 1090 standard for steel and aluminium structures ends on 1 July. From this date, manufacturers must comply with the requirements of the standard for CE marking, which include the implementation of a factory production control.

The implementation of these processes has many synergies with the requirements of the ISO 9001 certification on Quality Management, which allows their integration and the performance of joint audits to assess compliance with both standards.

    Objective of the Conference

To provide manufacturers, users and interested parties with a better understanding of the requirements of EN 1090 and its implementation process as well as its inspection and validation.
