    Applus+ Laboratories will host the next NFC Forum Plugfest at its Barcelona headquarters in March 2015. From March 9 to 13, world leading companies in Near Field Communication (NFC) technology will gather in Barcelona to test the interoperability of their NFC devices, and evaluate their devices using NFC Forum approved test tools. 
    Near Field Communication technology represents a new communication standard that ensures interoperability between IT devices through short-range wireless connectivity. All IT products that wish to interoperate properly using NFC technology must successfully pass the official NFC Forum certification program.
    Applus+ Laboratories, a world leader in testing and certification, has been a member of NFC Forum since July 2008, and is also an authorized laboratory for NFC’s official testing plan. Applus+ covers the full range of tests defined in the NFC certification for all modes in the market (Card Emulation, Peer-to-Peer and Reader/Writer). Furthermore, it is also the Validation House for all NFC Certified test tools in Digital, LLCP & SNEP.
