    Madridjoya is the Spanish event organized by IFEMA MADRID for the dissemination of trends and developments in the jewelry and watchmaking sector.

    Applus+ Laboratories will attend this event for the first time with the Chamber of Metrology Laboratories. You can find us in Hall 6, stand A19. 

    The fair offers activities and content related to jewelry and watchmaking, and focused on development, promoting training, digitization, innovation and sustainability.

    A few months ago, the Madrid-based company CLM became part of our Division. In the next edition of Madridjoya we will attend together to present the services we offer in our Precious Metals laboratory: 

    • Analysis of precious metals: determine the grade of the metal that makes up the piece, understanding by grade, the proportion by weight of pure metal within the alloy. We analyze gold, silver and platinum. 
    • Contrast of precious metals: in our country any object made of precious metals (gold, silver or platinum), must undergo a contrast test to ensure its degree of purity. CLM is an accredited and independent body for the analysis of the purity of precious metals.
