As a strategic provider of cybersecurity assessments, Applus+ Laboratories is proud to be a silver sponsor and speaker at the EU Cyber Acts Conference.

    • Start date: 25/03/2025
    • End date: 27/03/2025
    • City: Brussels
    • Country: Belgium
    • Event Website: https://eucyberact.org/

The EU Cyber Acts Conference is an independent forum that aims to strengthen defenses against cyber-attacks and improve product security in the EU.

This event addresses two major projects that aim to establish the foundations for consolidating a European framework that ensures a single, joint market:

    • The EU Cybersecurity Act (CSA): an extensive independent European body of cybersecurity regulation as part of the “single digital market” goal.
    • The Cyber Security Resilience Act (CRA): details the specific requirements that product developers will have to abide by for a wide scope of consumer products, including IoT, cloud, communications, payments, automotive, and more.

During this conference, we will play a key role, not only as silver sponsors but also as speakers.

We will be present at the following sessions:

    1. Assessing the Cyber RED-DA: Our Take on the Good, the Bad, and the Impact of EN 18031 (T11b) on Wednesday, 26th of March at 11:20 h. This talk will be given by Nuria Carrio, Certification Technical Director, Applus+ Laboratories, Spain.
    2. Breaking New Ground: ITSEF’s Journey Through EUCC Accreditation and Authorization (J12a) on Wednesday, 26th of March at 13:20 h. This session will feature Wei Yuan, Director of Operations, Applus+ Laboratories, Spain.
    3. Panel Discussion: Navigating EU Regulations—The Interplay Between RED, CRA, and EU Certification Schemes (EUCC and Beyond) (R13c) on Wednesday, 26th of March at 16:20 h. This roundtable will be led by Jose Francisco Ruiz Gualda, Cybersecurity BU Director, Applus+ Laboratories, Spain.

We are excited to be part of this valuable event! Most importantly, we hope to contribute to the standards community as they prepare for the evolution of risk-based frameworks and get ready to address ongoing market needs.
