Applus+ Laboratories delivers the certificate of conformity to Cojali, a Spanish multinational leader in the manufacturing of components and the development of technological solutions for the industrial automotive sector. This certification confirms that Cojali complies with the requirements established by the ISO/SAE 21434 standard, used as a guide to implement a Cybersecurity Management System in companies that are part of the automotive supply chain.

The ISO/SAE 21434 standard provides a framework for addressing cybersecurity throughout the lifecycle of a vehicle or one of its components, from design and development to decommissioning. This certification is crucial to ensure that Cojali's organizational and cybersecurity engineering processes meet the necessary requirements to define and implement a Cybersecurity Risk Management System (CSMS).

One of the ways OEMs can ensure compliance with Regulation UN No. 155 is for their supply chain to implement a cybersecurity management system such as the ISO/SAE 21434 standard. As part of the automotive supply chain, this certification allows Cojali to demonstrate that it has correctly implemented the cybersecurity management system and that it is a trusted partner for its customers.

With this certification, Cojali demonstrates its commitment to developing secure products and its ability to effectively manage cybersecurity risks in the automotive sector.
