Applus+ Laboratories becomes National Certification Body for Industrial Cybersecurity under the IECEE CB Scheme

21/03/2025

Already an accredited CB Testing Laboratory for the IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, we now offer full service to our clients.

Applus+ Laboratories is proud to announce an expansion of its scope as a National Certification Body (NCB)* for the IECEE CB Scheme. The new accreditation encompasses two pivotal cybersecurity standards operated by the IECEE: IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC62443-4-2.

Our cybersecurity laboratory in Granada, Spain, was among the first in Europe to receive accreditation as a CBTL for these standards, and our specialists have contributed as editors to the ERNCIP thematic group for ‘Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS)’.

With this advancement, Applus+ Laboratories can now provide a comprehensive service, including both testing and certification, facilitating market access to numerous countries through the CB Scheme's mutual recognition of test reports and certificates among NCBs.
