AEMER (the association for the maintenance of renewable energy) and Applus+ have developed a new Specific Certification System to endorse quality, capability and professionalism in maintenance services for renewable facilities.
To obtain this new quality mark, companies must undergo an audit process directed by Applus+ in which
various requirements are assessed, such as high levels of safety, a clear service strategy which includes procedures for monitoring results, experienced and trained personnel, appropriate calibration and checks for tools and equipment, general quality and safety certifications or documentation relating to the coordination of the company’s activities, amongst other things.
Three of AEMER’s partners have successfully undergone the process already and now have Applus+ certificate and the AEMER mark:
- Dresser-Rand A Siemens Business (March 2016)
- Ingeteam (April 2016)
- Revergy (July 2016)
Applus+ awarded the last of these certificates on 11th July 2016 to Iñigo Vazquez, Manager at Revergy. The award was made by Germán Martín, Regional Manager Product Certification at Applus+ in Madrid.
