The overall objective of the NFC-DCC: From the dispositive to the application with NFC technology: Development-Qualifying-Certification project is to develop the knowledge and the necessary techniques for the development, qualifying and certification of the wireless communications systems based on Near Field Communications technologies (NFC). It is an emerging technology for short distance and high frequency wireless communications systems, coming from the evolution of the technology for devices identification by radio frequency (RFID).
The project contributes to develop devices, components, subsystems and applications oriented to the generation of new products using NFC technology, as well as to the qualification and certification of these products.
Applus+ is the project leader, with the collaboration of Soluciones Digitales de Movilidad S.L, IMB-CNM (CSIC) and the UAB CAIAC Center.
The project has been funded by MINECO (Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad), through 2011 INNPACTO subprogram within the Scientific Investigation, Development and Technology Innovation National Program 2008-2011.
